HYROX announces its Australian season in blocks. The 2026/27 season opened in Sydney (July 2026), moved through Perth (August 2026), and finishes with Melbourne (December 2026), Auckland (February 2027) and Brisbane (March–April 2027). The next block of announcements — which is where a Sydney 2027 date would appear — hasn't been released. We check the official calendar daily and update this page when it changes. When is HYROX Sydney 2027?
As of 16 September 2026, HYROX has not announced a Sydney event for 2027. The most recent HYROX Sydney ran 1–5 July 2026 as the opening race of the 2026/27 Australian season. When the next Sydney event is announced it will appear on hyrox.com and hyroxaustralia.com — and on our race calendar within a day.
How do I get tickets for HYROX Sydney 2027?
Tickets are only sold through the official HYROX website (hyrox.com). Australian events regularly sell out within days of release, so register for HYROX email alerts or use the notify form on this page and we'll email you when Sydney 2027 dates and tickets are announced.
Which Australian HYROX races can I enter right now?
Three races in the region currently have tickets on sale: BYD HYROX Melbourne (9–13 December 2026), BYD HYROX Auckland (4–7 February 2027), and BYD HYROX Brisbane (31 March – 4 April 2027). Brisbane is the closest to both Sydney and the Gold Coast on the east coast calendar.
Should Gold Coast athletes wait for Sydney 2027 or race Brisbane?
For Gold Coast athletes, Brisbane (31 March – 4 April 2027) is the obvious pick: it's an 80 km drive rather than an 850 km trip, tickets are already on sale, and the date is confirmed. Sydney 2027 has no announced date yet, so building a training block around it is a gamble.
How often does HYROX come to Sydney?
Sydney has featured in each recent Australian HYROX season, most recently in July 2026. HYROX has been expanding its Australian calendar (Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Auckland all hosted races in the 2025/26–2026/27 seasons), so another Sydney event is likely — but nothing is confirmed until it appears on hyrox.com.
