Where this data comes from
Starting profiles are drawn from real individual results at HYROX Sydney 2026 (3,321 Open Men / 2,043 Open Women / 556 Pro Men / 242 Pro Women), a large recent Australian event — verified on HYRESULT. Each "Fast / Average / Steady" profile is one verified athlete's split from that finishing band, so it's a real pacing pattern rather than a made-up curve — including the way run splits fade across all eight legs and how much time gets lost in the Roxzone.
Equipment loads come straight from the official HYROX Singles Rulebook. This is a planning tool, not a certified prediction — race day conditions, pacing discipline, and venue layout all move the real number.
Calculator FAQ
How accurate is this HYROX calculator?
It's a benchmark tool, not a lab prediction. The starting profiles are drawn from real HYROX Sydney 2026 individual results (Open and Pro, men and women), and the run fade curve reflects how real athletes actually slow down across the eight run legs. Your real race time depends on the venue, weather, roxzone congestion, and how you pace the day — treat the number as a planning target, not a guarantee.
Why does Run 8 take so much longer than Run 1?
Every division shows the same pattern: legs 2–7 fade gradually, but the final 1km after Wall Balls is dramatically slower — 40–140% slower than Run 1 depending on division and pace. Wall Balls trashes your legs and grip right before the last run, so pacing the earlier legs conservatively is one of the biggest levers in a HYROX result.
What is Roxzone and why is it added separately?
Roxzone is the transition time between finishing a run and starting the next station (and vice versa) — queuing, walking to the rack, catching your breath. It isn't a run or a station, but across real results it adds 5–11 minutes to a finish time, so the calculator adds it on top of your run and station totals rather than hiding it.
Do Open and Pro use different weights?
Yes. Pro division loads are significantly heavier — for men, sled push goes from 152kg to 202kg and wall ball from 6kg to 9kg between Open and Pro. Switching divisions in the calculator updates both the station-time benchmarks and the official equipment loads shown underneath.
